Abstract

This report describes the design and implementation of the Class Interface Manager (scCIM) layer of the Dee Compiler. The Class Interface Manager is a database maintaining class interface information and attribute information generated by Dee programs. It provides read, write and query services to the Dee Semantic Analyser (scSA), the Dee linker (scDINK) and the Dee browser (scRI). The database is able to support multiuser access. In this report, we describe the design and implementation of the Unix version of Dee's scCIM and a design proposal for the next version of the scCIM.
