Abstract
This thesis examines the current grade 10 history curriculum and proposes that it should be more inclusive of other cultures. After explaining the virtues of a pluralist education, a complete overview of the curriculum is presented. Particular emphasis is placed on the missing information regarding minority cultures. A revised curriculum outline is then presented as an alternative, with the inclusion of as many cultures as possible, in order to enable the "others" to see themselves in the curriculum. From this outline, the histories of the most numerous ethnic groups in our schools are presented. These are the "missing pages" to be included in a revised and accurate version of the history of Quebec and Canada. Several ideas and resources are suggested to increase the multicultural content of the current curriculum.
