Here is the text of an email I received from the press confirming their embargo before they will permit open access to the chapter (please let me know if you would like this forwarded as an actual email):

Dear Shannon, 

Thank you for your email explaining Concordia’s Open Access Policy. We are willing to allow you to post your chapter in Concordia’s repository after a two-year embargo. Since the publication date was April of this year, you would be allowed to post the chapter in April of 2017. 

You are welcome to post an abstract and the table of contents on Academia to garner interest in the book, but we do not want the entire chapter available online until after the book has had its chance on the market. 

Please don’t hesitate to ask should you have any further questions.
