The current study only focuses on buildings with two different length-to-width ratios and two ductility levels of selected braced frame. It is believed that selecting other building sets with a variety of plan configurations, taller heights and different LFRSs, more valuable results can be witnessed. Also, it is recommended that more locations in Canada to be selected in order to study the effects of wind versus earthquake load and to conclude which one of the two lateral loads governs the members design. In terms of wind loads, although this thesis has recommended and applied the methodology to tackle the issues existed in NBCC 2015, it is strongly believed that if the wind tunnel test results are applied, more reliable comparisons can be obtained.
