Abstract

Yours to Discover (2020) is a project which looks at found photographs of the artist's family visiting popular tourist destinations in Ontario as a means of understanding and reinterpreting national ideals of culture. The essays in this book are reflections on the use of the family album, tourist sites, settler culture, migration, and performance for the camera.
