Abstract

Le but de cette réflexion philosophique est d’explorer les enjeux de la formation vocale pour les musicothérapeutes. L’analyse des données s’est déroulée en deux étapes : la première étant la révision des écrits selon les mots-clés déterminés pour cette recherche, et la deuxième étant la classification des écrits et des arguments pertinents selon une organisation logique et structurée des thèmes identifiés. Les résultats de la recherche exposent les thèmes suivants : le travail vocal en musicothérapie, les compétences vocales requises en Amérique du Nord, un survol de la formation vocale en musicothérapie, les enjeux et la sensibilisation à la santé vocale des musicothérapeutes, les impacts physiques et psychologiques d’une formation vocale inadéquate et les besoins d’une formation vocale adaptée aux besoins de la profession. Finalement des pistes de réflexion nous amènent à considérer trois aspects de la voix pour réaliser une formation vocale optimale. Les implications pour la profession et des recommandations pour de future recherche sont présentées.
