Abstract
This is a personal exploration into the landscape of the imagination, a landscape where memory, perception and the imagination exchange functions. It is a place where life becomes death, where death comes to life, where a suitcase becomes a lifetime, where a fountain mirrors the transience of human life. It is a place where everything that I have ever lived for evaporates into the air, into the sea, into the flame of the fire that burns before me. It is a place that leaves one with no theoretical place to stand. Here, I am on my own. In this landscape of the ephemeral, subjectivity rules. There is no objectivity. Exploring this land will not be a way to produce irrefutable truth. Nor will it be a place from which to define a specific paradigm. But, the landscape of the imagination is a place from which a different perspective can be obtained on diverse concepts and disciplines, a place where the forced inversion of real and unreal forces one to examine who and what one is, and what one believes in. Like a virtual immersion in which one creates what one wishes to be, it is a place where being is not being, and not being is the reaching of the essence
