Service management has undergone as many changes in the history of Information Technology as the industry itself. In today's world companies are not so more looking at
monitoring and managing the IT components but they want to see how these components support the layers on top. At first these where the applications but in today's world the focus lays on supporting the business This paper describes the results of the research on the maturity of the organisations and gives in the form of a case study a way to demonstrate a a way how organisations can move forward in their thrive to grow to a higher maturity level
