Abstract
The aim of the proposed research is to explore and explain the use of dramatherapeutic tools, mainly the creating of a story and its sound recording as a treatment method for clients suffering from fibromyalgia and chronic pain so that they may recognize and release certain of their emotions. Thus, the writing of a fictitious story related to their problem, as well as the expression, recording and listening of their voice reflecting a range of emotions, could be a liberating experience which creates a feeling of personal accomplishment.
