Abstract
The Rest and the Void is an immersive installation of large-scale black and white woodcuts that considers the city as a site of transformation, wanted and unwanted; as a place of creation and possibility but also as an ecosystem at risk. Fragmented and under construction, the installation reflects the evolving landscape of urban areas, the changing concept of what it means to live in cities, what cities should be, and for whom.
